Commitment To Green and Sustainable Building It Started Here in the Northwest:
Paradise Environmental Plumbing is committed to green building. This is an underlying value system which drives our company. We have included links to Ecohaus, formerly Environmental Home Center and the Northwest Eco-Building Guild for clients to look at new possibilities regarding building materials, environmental building, new technologies and a way of thinking. EH founders are leaders in this industry. We are a referral contractor for EH and we refer our clients to them as a resource for sustainable building materials as well as education. As resources become scarcer and health issues become apparent, concerned individuals are looking at new ways to make positive impacts in these areas. Some of the new products are really finding ways to use natural products in a more efficient systems. In plumbing this includes using products that are safer for the environment and people; recycling and avoiding the use of glues, and plastics that may have long term health consequences. We stay up to date on these issues and educate our clients as much as possible. In the Northwest as in other parts of the country, “Green Building” is “Value Added Building.”
